Strawberry Freezer Jam in open 8oz mason jars on slips of burlap surrounded by fresh strawberries on a wooden slab.

Strawberry Freezer Jam

I always get excited when Spring time in Georgia finally rolls around. First, I can’t stand cold whether and the arrival of Spring means that Summer is almost here. Second, it also means that strawberry picking season is upon us. Each Spring, I head to a local farm in Georgia to hand pick only the best strawberries for my delicious treats. My repertoire of strawberry treats tends to change a bit from year to year, but one recipe that is always on the list is my Strawberry Freezer Jam.

The jam is perfect with toast, English muffins, waffles, poundcake and so much more. I even use it to make strawberry icing for my strawberry doughnuts. Trust me, once you make it, you’ll find plenty of ways to use it because it is just that good.

Enough talking, let’s jam.
